Park Branch Open House: Celebration with Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band

the vibe

Celebrate 117 years of service to the neighborhood with Park Branch Library. Create your own holiday card at a drop-in craft table, attend a panel discussion on Hardly Strictly Bluegrass at 25: The Big Twang!, and enjoy a live performance from Bay Beats artists Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band. The band, widely recognized as one of the most exciting young bands in acoustic music, features brothers Miles and Teo Quale alongside bassist Andrew Osborn and 2023 National Flat Pick Guitar Champion Ian Ly, playing a unique mix of bluegrass, Dawg music, jazz, and modern originals. Activities run 1 - 4 pm with specific programming throughout the afternoon.
