🧓 How much say do we actually have in how our brains age? We're all going to age, but the path our brains take along the way is not entirely out of our hands. In this talk, clinical scientist Dr. Breanna Bullard explores the science of successful aging: what actually happens inside the brain over the decades, why some people stay sharp well into later life while others don't, and how much of that difference is within our control. Drawing on her research at UC Berkeley and her clinical work with patients and families facing dementia, Dr. Bullard walks through the modifiable risk factors that carry the most weight for long-term brain health, along with common myths worth retiring. She's passionate about translating dense neuroscience into guidance people can actually use to take care of their brains. Attendees will leave with a practical picture of what successful aging looks like from the neck up, plus a concrete set of evidence-based habits to start putting into practice today. 🧠 🕰 Event Details What should I expect? 7:00-7:35 --> arrival & chats 7:35-8:20 --> lecture 8:20-9:00 --> q&a and more chatting Who's invited?
