There are parts of you you’ve learned are “too much.” Too intense. Too overwhelming. Too messy to make sense of. Too inconvenient to let exist. Over time, many of us have learned to contain them — to quiet them, override them, or make them more reasonable than we actually feel. So the intensity stays. Held in the body. Revisited in the mind. Waiting for a space where it can finally move. What if these moments are not a problem to solve? What if they are expressions of something within us that simply has not yet been met, felt, or allowed? When there is enough safety, both internally and around us, emotional intensity can begin to shift. What once felt overwhelming can move, soften, and resolve — often more quickly than we expect. Permission to Lose It is a tender, unapologetic, experiential space for exploring this possibility.
