On the morning of September 19th, the timebeing teahouse opens its doors early to hold a small circle of sixteen. We begin moving through Tai Chi with Wayne Huey, letting breath and slow motion settle the nervous system and bring you fully into your body. Then we sit. The table resets. And gongfu tea — Taiwanese ceremonial brewing, steeped in rounds, shared in small cups passed hand to hand — becomes the second half of the same ritual: movement giving way to stillness, stillness giving way to presence.
