Presentation: Asian Law Caucus on Workers' Rights

Community advocate Mei Mei Chan will be presenting on workers' rights in the City and County of San Francisco and the State of California. All workers, regardless of immigration status, have workers’ rights in California. This presentation will provide an overview of wage and hour rights (minimum wage, overtime, breaks) as well as anti-discrimination and anti-retaliation rights. In addition, it will review what to do if your rights get violated at work. As background, this presentation will provide a brief review of some of the history that led us to obtain these rights.
