On Saturday, September 12 from 1–3 PM, the Museum of Craft and Design hosts a curator-led walkthrough of OBJECTS: USA, a survey of 80+ American craft works spanning 1969 to today across jewelry, furniture, and design. Evan Snyderman, curator and co-founder of the New York gallery R & Company, will discuss the renewed relevance of American studio craft, followed by Grace Londono, Head of Artist Relations, leading visitors through the exhibition to explore the techniques, materials, and stories behind the pieces. General admission is $10 ($8 for students and seniors; free for members), and tickets include full museum access. The exhibition traces the legacy of the original 1969 Smithsonian OBJECTS: USA, which established the American studio craft movement, showing how it continues to influence contemporary makers today.
