Kamasi Washington, a Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and bandleader, performs at Yoshi's Oakland on Monday, September 14 at 7:00 PM (doors). Washington has released four acclaimed albums—The Epic, Harmony of Difference, Heaven and Earth, and Fearless Movement—and scored the Michelle Obama documentary Becoming, which earned him Emmy and Grammy nominations.
