
De Ayer a Hoy / From Yesterday celebrates the 60th Anniversary of Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco, honoring the legacy of founder Adela Clara and former Artistic Director Miguel Santos while looking toward the company’s future. Under the artistic direction of Carola Zertuche, this special production brings together artists from different generations who have been part of Theatre Flamenco’s journey. The program features a total of nine works, including three premieres and six reimagined pieces from Theatre Flamenco’s repertoire, celebrating the company’s rich artistic history and continued evolution. The production features 14 artists on stage, including special guest collaborators: Cristina Hall, a San Francisco flamenco artist who has lived and worked in Seville for more than 20 years; Adrián Santana from Málaga, Spain; contemporary dancer Nol Simonse; and flamenco dancer and Nevarez Encinias . The evening features exceptional flamenco musicians, including singers Amparo Heredia from Málaga, Spain, and Diego Amador from Seville, Spain , guitarist Jesse Torres , and electronic musician Pascual Martínez .
