Friday Nights at OMCA with The Seshen

Friday Nights at OMCA is a free evening event featuring live music from The Seshen, a six-piece band blending R&B, synth-pop, and electronic sound with synth layers, live percussion, and vocals. After the performance, DJ Nikki Diamonds takes over with a genre-hopping mix of house, R&B, funk, and disco. The event also includes a beginner-friendly country line dance lesson led by Nora Gomperts and Leo Orringer, plus Gallery Chats from 5:30–7:30 pm where visitors can engage in conversations with OMCA facilitators about the museum's collections. The event runs Friday, June 26 from 5:00–9:00 PM at the Oakland Museum of California's Garden Stage.
