Oakland-based pianist, MC, producer, and composer Kev Choice leads a high-energy ensemble blending hip-hop, jazz, soul, and classical music, moving between improvisation, orchestration, and groove-driven storytelling. He's a virtuosic pianist and dynamic bandleader who has collaborated with artists including Lauryn Hill, Goapele, Ledisi, and E-40, and his compositions have been performed by the Oakland Symphony and San Francisco Symphony.
