Voices of Silicon Valley (VOSV) is pleased to perform contemporary vocal music mixed with electronics! This is a rare opportunity to witness and explore the relationship between choral singing and music production -- electronic instruments Come hear the Bay area's leading electronic music artist Idea Unsound (Kris Grant) in combination with VOSV's director, Cyril Deaconoff, setting of "La rosa de Mexico", based upon poet Xavier Villaurrutia's "Nocturna rosa". We'll also explore the page of words unread in composer Alexander Frank's newest choral work "Lorem Ipsum", as well as revisit Peter Shin's "Bits Torn from Words::VI. If __________ did happen, how bad would it be?" We're excited to introduce talented young artist Nathan Zavaleta's work, Dream, in combination with electronics by Kris Grant.
