Learn about the history of dabke, a dance form practiced throughout the SWANA region and Arab Diaspora, watch performances and join in dancing dabke together with performance group Al-Juthoor (“Roots” in Arabic).  Al-Juthoor is a Dabke dance group of the Arab Diaspora that raises awareness about Arab and Palestinian struggle, culture, and art. Dabke is a dance form practiced throughout the SWANA region and the Arab world, including Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq.
