Reading group in partnership with the "Poetics and Plant Medicine" series, facilitated by Stephanie Young and Ramsey McGlazer. Participants will read and view poetry, essays, scholarship, video, and experimental works by writers and artists in the series, exploring plant medicines, altered states, the cultural history of psychedelics, healing, ecology, and political economy. Meets in person at Bathers Library in downtown Oakland.
