Learn foundational cooking skills, discuss nutrition topics and prepare a meal together. For ages 13–18. Space limited. Reservations required: (415) 355-5600, or sign up at the Reference desk. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or complete a waiver signed by their guardian. Cooking Matters is a program offered by 18 Reasons that pairs hands-on cooking practice with culturally appropriate nutrition discussions.
